Michelle
Vincent is an ICES
member who enjoys learning and teaching new techniques.
Sugar art is Michelle’s Passion and in 1995 she started her
teaching career. Some of the professional classes she has
taken have been Nick Lodge, Roland Winbeckler, Collette
Peters and Pilar Kurdi. She has expanded her skills and
knowledge in the latest techniques by attending many
demonstrations at area Days of Sharing and at the ICES
Convention. Michelle is our morning instructor currently
teaching the following classes; Basic, Intermediate,
Advanced and Fondant classes as well as our flower classes. |

Claire Workman has over 10 years of cake decorating
experience and loves teaching this art to others. She
holds certificates in the Master Decorating Program,
Pulled Sugar Artistry, and Chocolate Artistry from The
Wilton School of Confectionary Art in Chicago, IL.
Claire has also had the opportunity to receive
instruction in fondant techniques from Colette Peters
and cake construction techniques from Bronwen Weber.
Claire is currently the evening instructor for Basic,
Intermediate, and Advanced courses at Cake Carousel

Claire McKenna has lived in the USA for 2 years having moved
from the United Kingdom. She trained as a baker and
confectioner while she was in England and also taught cake
decorating classes at night school, covering all aspects of
the business. Having been a member of the British Sugar
Craft guild, she has always kept a keen interest in cake
decorating. Throughout the years she has worked hard to
develop her cake decorating skills. Particular interests in
using rolled fondant and designing novelty cakes. She loves
meeting new people and has a friendly and positive
attitude. Claire is currently teaching our Fondant and
Novelty classes. |

Sue
Mick has been teaching
sugar art classes for over 25 years. She is a member
of ICES and served as the Texas State Representative and on
the ICES International Board of Directors. An award
winning sugar artist, she has participated in demonstrations
and workshops at many ICES Conventions and Days of Sharing.
She is a Sugar Art Judge, past Texas Sugar Art Show
Director, a member of the Wilton Hall of Fame, Wilton
Teacher of the Year in 2000, has been featured in sugar art
magazines and has internationally demonstrated various sugar
art mediums. Sue currently teaches our Chocolate Artistry,
Sugar Art, All Day Basic and All Day Intermediate Classes.

Bobbie Lewis teaches our Airbrush Class and sometimes
Basic Cake Decorating. She took Beginners (Basic) Cake
Decorating Class in June of 1980. She worked at Cake
Carousel from 1988-1992. During that time she took
Intermediate and Advanced Cake Decorating, Wedding Cake
Class, Chocolate Rose, Gumpaste 1, Sugar Paste 2, Figure
Piping, and last but not least her favorite Airbrush Class
